We are so excited to announce the details for this years Mid Year Showcase!

Our Mid Year Showcase is an informal concert that allows parents, grandparents and friends to see what your children have learnt in class throughout the first half of the year. Our Mid Year Showcase is a highlight of the year and so much fun!

WHEN

Sunday 15th June 2025

LOCATION

Our Mid Year Showcase will be held at EASTWOOD PUBLIC SCHOOL, Rowe St, EASTWOOD.

UNIFORM

All students are required to wear full THE EDGE DANCE CENTRE uniform to perform in as well as the correct footwear. This includes:

• EDC STUDENTS: Jazz / Tap / Contemporary / Lyrical / Hip Hop / Acro / Irish/Musical Theatre: Full EDC uniform with correct shoes for the style.

• READY SET DANCE/READY SET BALLET: Full RSD uniform with either RSD branded socks or dance stockings, RSD crossover may be worn  (available for purchase at EDC reception)

• READY SET ACRO: Full RSD uniform with the option of the RSD branded unitard. RSD crossover may be worn  (available for purchase at EDC reception)

  Please note: The venue can get quite cold inside. Dancers may wish to wear something warm over their uniform that they can take off quickly and easily like a jacket etc. Our EDC Snuggly Hoodies and RSD Jackets are perfect for this!

Uniforms can be purchased at reception during office hours. Make sure you don't leave any uniform purchases until the last minute as our uniform does sell out fast!

GROOMING

Girls are required to have their hair pulled neatly off their face in a high ponytail for all styles, except ballet MUST be in a proper ballet bun, with bun pins & hair net.

Boys, neat hair to be worn.

Please also make sure shoes and uniforms are clean and looking presentable. There is no need for makeup as there are no stage lights.

Please check the Show Groups & Run Orders by clicking the button at the top of this page to see what show/s your child will be performing in. Please be aware that the shows are determined by age groups to make it easier for the majority of parents. If you have multiple children in different age groups, this may mean you need to attend more than one session on the day.

If you are unsure of your dancers class names these can be viewed on the DSM [Dance Studio Manager] Parent Portal or on your Enrolment Confirmation.

NOTE: these are not a final running order. They are just a list of classes in each show and arrival times. Final running orders will be confirmed closer to the concert.

***If your child is unable to attend the concert – please let us know ASAP so teachers can be notified, as we have placed EVERY CHILD in a position.***

Tickets go on sale Monday 19th May 2025, 9:00am and can be purchased by clicking the button at the top of this page.

TICKETING INFORMATION

Single Show Adults $20.00

Single Show School Aged Child* $15.00

Unlimited shows (Day Pass) - Adults $39.00, School Aged Child* $29.00

* Children aged 2- 16 . Children aged under 2 do not require a ticket if they will not be occupying a seat and will sit on a parents lap or in a pram/stroller.

Note: Tickets are general admission, there is no allocated seating or limits on number of tickets you can purchase.
